The boy and his coin

A little boy found a gold coin lying by the roadside one day, picked it up and looked at it.
It was dazzling and pleasing to the eye, and he thought he would hold on to it forever.
but one day, he dropped the golden coin into a vase*.
he peered into the vase, and he saw the coin lying there at the bottom of the vase. So he did what everybody would do, reached his hand in, and barely got hold of the coin.
he then pulled his arm out of the vase, but it stuck at the neck.
No matter how much he twisted or rotated his arm, he could not free his arm.
what he did not realise was that the reason why he could not free his arm was because the gold coin was still in his grasp.

*vase here is an item that cannot be broken or tipped over*

havent we all heard this parable before? about us causing ourselves lots of problems because of our own failure to set our priorities and logic straight. and even so we still hold on to that thing that is the main cause of our complaint. i bet none of you know what im talking about... never mind me, go run along, and if you get to such a scenario like the stupid little boy, please please please let go...... thank you.

"lianglin, please wake up and get your act together, please stop making me feel embarrased that i'm with you, and for the love of God, be a man!!" -your brain.
