Hello one and all again. Many a time before this morning i wanted to update on this blog, somehow, i always got waylaid by some random thought that poked into my head.
So here i am, and i if you ask:"so, whats stopping you from updating this time?"
i shall reply, i am still awake cuz england lost on penalties......
haha, nah, its not.
Actually im awake because of a drinking accident of that befell this group of people on an attempt to get high on a saturday night. haha..
i was part of that group..
and if you're reading this guys, err... i didnt remember anything you said tonight!! really...did that make you feel better?
sigh. nowadays, my life is so mundane and wound down in camp that i dont even want to make friends with the new people around that i see. As in, what i mean is that you get so sian of some place and your job there, that you just try your best to live day by day, hour by hour, step after step and just hope for the bookout time would come sooner. Right now, i live for my weekends and the life i lead outside of camp. Constantly daydreaming during the various technical handling lessons of weapons of what i could be doing or thinking of how to downgrade.
Speaking of downgrade, because i so do not want to be a gunner(as in the man who operates the huge field howitzer 2000, not an arsenal player), that i want to get injured during training. Like, i want to volunteer for as much PT and "sai kang" in the garage hoping something is going to hit me and cause some damage and get me outt of there.
I had always thought those who wanted to get out of a combat position were during the war.. like the "blighty wound" in the first world war, when soldiers always hope they get shot in the foot or some finger. i.e, a wound that will not kill you, but gets you sent away from the frontline.
In world war two, when soldiers sometimes 'accidentally' drop shells on their foot or literally shooting themselves in the foot to get pulled out of war. More recently, in the IRAQ war, the some american marines actually stuck their feet out from under the humvees during a sniper drill, hoping they get shot, or some of them who stopped taking their anti-malaria pills in hope of contracting the diesease and sent home.
se the similiarities between me and the people that were fighting a war? ARGH...... i hate my life now..
i actually have a lot of stuff to say. till then, night everyone.. :D
