it all made sense to me just now when i saw them darting around alarmingly when i approached the edge of my sink to brush my teeth..
well, because the mother decided that our fishtank at home is too gross and unfunctional(because we only have two tiny tigerbarbs and the fish tank is HUGE).
and being the obsessive compulsive, and ultimatly possesive me, i decided against the idea. why? Because that would firstly, leave a whole mess on the floor, require lots of engergy and effort to move the entire thing out of the house, and finally, think of the trauma that the two tiny fish would go through! imagine you living in your big spacious house for over 5 years... then one one friendly day, your owner scoops you out, into this tiny glass bowl, and you watch helplessly as your entire house gets demolished right in front of your eyes!!!
well, that sounds like an ignorant mistress of a bankrupted tycoon.. haha..
so anyway, one fine day when i wasnt around, she took it upon herself to rid the house of the "filth" and the "hassle" of the tank, by painfully removing the lid of the tank, draining all the 80 liters of water, scooping all the stones out, removing, who knows all many filters.. so yeah... basically, she managed to throw the whole damn thing out.
*warning, gross material ahead!! do not continue if you are of the faint-hearted*
*you now have been warned*
And so, in conjunction with the throwing out of the tank, we are evicting the fellow dewllers of our house for 5 years. So, some responsibility has to be taken. And so, the mother put them into this glass bowl.. and she conviently left the bowl in my bathroom..... and because my bathroom has no partition between the sink, toilet, and the shower, you can imagine what the fish has seen so far.. i mean, i shower twice a day, have regular bowel movements, and i regulate bodily fluids often....... so yeah... for those out there grimacing at the thought, well, you have been warned.
well, my poor fishies.... first evicted from their spacious home, then have to move into someone's toilet, and made to watch some really gross routine day after day after day... sounds like fishie hell to me... ya know, the neverending pain and suffering.
