Melbourne.

Here i am sitting in the lobby of my "hotel" going online and voyeuring through facebook(nope, i never take a break), and there, right opposite my street, this party has got it GOIN' ON! Pity i'm traveling with my mom and not some friends, cos we'd be in there, right in the midst of the action.

Melbourne reminds me of London in a way........... that there are always so much ethnicity you see on the street. Pakistani, indian, austrian, eygptian, chinese, korean, even malays.

Okay, here's a short digress. i was crossing the road at a junction today, and this skinny dude was running from the other side, rushing for a tram. He's a true brown mat! i thought he was wearing tights, but no, just super skinny super tapered jeans! and he's got all these rocker bracelets on his wrists. What gave him away, was that he actually said "alamak" as he ran past me. Ala-freaking-mak... at this point i also don't find it as funny as i first found it when i was writing the beginning of the paragraph. hmm.. but it was just how a skinny pencil was skipping across a busy intersection actually made my day! My goodness, Melbourne is depressing.

I am rather depressed, becasue, where i am staying at the moment, its just neverending streets of high end boutiques. Man. some of them, to buy a couple of shirts and a jacket, you'd have to give up like tuition fees for a semester. The depressing part is that its all SO NICE..... the jackets the jackets!! the lamb leather is so freaugfaking soft and desireable! haha.. but thats like easily over 2 thou...

Oh, the folly of trying to by shorts in tall man land..

Victoria market ain't much better, its cheaper(of course), but its waaaaaaay over-rated. Its a giant Pasar malam. okay, a Giant pasar malam with ramly burgers from all over the world. haahhahaaha, a bit harsh here, but im on vacation, so whatever.

Going to Sydney tomorrow! i'll update soon.

/edit: now that i've re-read what i've written, hmmm... seems like i've been having a bad time. haha. Truth is, i am having a blast! havent had this much freedom in a bit! whee! im gonna say this again, ORD LOH!
