whee!

i probably shouldn't be doing this 10 days from prelims, but anyway....

Just recently, i have made an observation that more and more people around me have obtained new mp3 players....its like:

hey!! you got a new ishuffle! what happened to your good'ole chunky discman??

or like,

hey!! nice ipod mini...-turns around- hey!! another new ipod mini!!

gone were the days when people had to lug around those burdening discmans and weighty MD players... its the Mp3 players thats in fashion!! its the ipods, ipod minis, ipod shuffles, zen micros, even those i rivers that people brandish like some status symbol, ya know, to show that you are part of the group that people want to associate themselves with. Bah!

then again i could be over reacting...

Then it dawned on me that i need one of those. Despite my wilful resistance against anything gimmicky for quite long, i think i have succumbed to the peer pressure and the consumerism culture here.. DAMN the capitalists!! sighz. so i was online looking through the different brand catalogues displaying their array of digital music players... and the Zen micro page kinda caught my eye, as in, i think it is really what i need.. all the features of an ipod mini, just not an ipod mini... yes.. im sure you re-read that sentence. then it had this line describing its sensitive vertical touch scroll pad and it said "No more going round in circles to find the song you want, we all know that the quickest distance between two points is a straight line." now, dont we all know which competitor they are taking a dig at?? haha.. its so low..

so all you people out there, there is an important date coming up, and i really like the creative Zen micro.. i like the yellow colour one thank you very much... so yeah.. not hinting at all.. haha.

on another note.. there is this really short choir session and this really long lit lesson tomorrow morning.. haha.. it felt weird typing that.. cuz usually its the other way around.. ya know...

so yeah.. probably wont be updating till the end of prelims, unless someone pops by before then to deliver this really really cool gift approximately 4 days before it starts.. so cya peeps!!
