the last couple of days were absolutely tiring and frustrating at times, but its extremely rewarding at others... ok.. on today's post, im gonna put its real name..
Choir has been the most rewarding thing i have gotten myself involved in for this year.
Yes, of course there has been ups and downs, but which activity doesnt? haha.. but the music making experience with my fellow choir members is just so fun. i mean, yes, we are not that good at holding the line and all, and yes, we havent got that trust between us yet, but i can feel that our batch is gel-ling both on and off the stage.. no one is selfish anymore, we all give each other space and time to do their part and make each other look better. i think that is really remarkable for that to happen to total strangers coming together, which at first the only thing that they have in common was that they all passed the auditions.
Carolling is such a watershed for its members, so many people just decided that they wanted to do it and just came out of their shell and did it.. yes, i think you know who you are. -takes hat off- despite some performances being really lacking in the same darn thing Mrs tay talked about over and over again, we dug deep into our reserves and always managed to give a decent performance after that.
oh.. the highlights of the past two nights was the return of melanie and adrian respectively.. yeah.. really missed you guys and its great to see ya again.. if im not wrong, the class is going out with mel later in the afternoon..
And dan, if, by any strange divine reason u are reading this, just wanna say that i do appreciate the effort he spends talking to me about those "deeply philosophical" issues thats much more rewarding that the bitching and gossiping that i do al the time.. really, i get a kick out of talking to ya.. yeah.. keep it going yeah?
its coming to a close, the carolling season, i dont want it to end. The performance, the applause, the slacking off during afternoon break.. haha. such wonderful memories with friends... the choral workshop with david charles on the bus, the scoldings that we got like every other performance....
as david said it, "its all part of the acjc choir experience."
well, today is the last day, and the last show.. lets end on a GOOD NOTE!! haha..
Merry Christmas everyone..
