My Thesis on The Role of Man

And since my prelims are Over already, and that i have quite an amount of free time on my hands, i have come up with this new version of the role and nature of humans.. as a species..
Please be warned that this is from an agnostic point of reasoning. If you think you are going to be offended by anything that is even vaguely unchristian, please do not proceed.. so yeah...
you have been mildly advised..

okay, before i start, i need you to leave everything you know about human beings and the planet they live on, out of your brain.

done that?

okay..

pretend that the earth we are living on is a being. An Geoearthan Sapien (i told you you need to leave your previous knowledge outside)
And that WE, the Homo Sapiens, live on this being.

Also, the definition of Cancer that is given by the University of virgina health system
says that cancer is Cancer is an "abnormal growth of cells. Cancer cells rapidly reproduce despite restriction of space, nutrients shared by other cells, or signals sent from the body to stop reproduction. Cancer cells are often shaped differently from healthy cells, they do not function properly, and they can spread to many areas of the body. Tumors, abnormal growth of tissue, are clusters of cells that are capable of growing and dividing uncontrollably; their growth is not regulated."

My main arguement is that: We, human beings, are likened to cancer on the Geoearthan Sapien, and that we will be the ones that in the end claim the life of our home planet.

Lets start with the origins of Human beings... and because i am agnostic, i have no idea..... neither does scientists know how cancer is formed, "There is no one single cause for cancer. Scientists believe that it is the interaction of many factors together that produces cancer." The same way that many peoples of the world and religions have their own explanation for the origins of humans.. ya know, adam and eve, the man being made out of clay by some chinese goddes, and also some divine elephant's puke or something of that nature. Therefore, right from the beginning, we have lots of similiarites.

i might not know the reason for man's origins, but i kinda have a pretty solid idea where did we start. From Historical knowledge, we know that Man started out from the "fertile crescent" the Cradle of civilization, Mesopotamian plains that is now known as modern Iraq.. (yes, we all started from there) and so, from there, we start multiplying and developing, and then gradually moving across the world. eg. the Indus civilization, Ancient Eygpt, Rome, Ancient China etc. Lke human origins, and their motion, Cancer starts off as a single tumor on either a tissue or organ of the body, then if it is maligent, and then if its metastatic, the tumor can send cells into other tissues in the body, which may be distant from the original tumor. see the parallel?? i mean.. i dont have to spell it out right? Therefore the origins and development of humans and Cancer is all quite similiar.

okay, next as we spread to the various parts of the world we develop our different identities and ethnic diversity, like latinos, blacks, chinese, angmohs, malays, mats.. lol.. yeah. we all are different and a lot of the cuztoms that we experience are very varied. A good example would be the language that we speak.. yeah.. quite self explanatory right? Another great example is that while chinese parents beat the shit out of their kids, the liberal whites send their kids to their rooms! lol... yeah.. just like humans, cancer in humans take up different forms. carcinoma, sarcoma, lymphoma, leukemia and myeloma.. okay. i dont know what they mean, but they should be very different.. i know for a fact that sarcoma is most linked with bone and muscle cancer, and that leukemia is cancer of the blood i think.. so yeah.. the specific types of cancer occur. Therefore, the earth can get so many different types of homo sapiens at the same time, is likened to a patient getting all the cancer at the same time! gosh.. poor earth..

As we begin to modernize, we cause damage to the earth, industrialization causes huge amounts of damage to the environment, the acid rain, pollution of land, air, and water. Furthermore, the emission of large amounts of methane(fart for eating too much, another danger of modernization), and carbon dioxide, warming up the earth, causing climate changes and rising sea levels causing the earth ecological damage as wetlands and fragile costal ecosystems. The same is said about cancer in patients. Well, cancer is cancer... it cant be good for you.
Furthermmore, issues like global warming and the extreme climate changes caused by man might actually cause the end of the earth, the death of Geoearthan Sapien, just like how terminal cancer will cause the death of the patient.

The extreme pace at we reproduce in relation to other entities on the planet is also ummatched.. other than rats and bacteria.. i mean.. its just wrong... anyway, we clear forests and kill other species on the planet that have just about the same right to live on the earth.. i mean, thousands of hectares of virgin rainforests are being clearedt for teak to make stuff for humans, and to make way for farmlands to make people live in, therefore it kinda draws a parallel to the part of the definition about cancerous cells rapidly reproduce despite restriction of space, nutrients shared by other cells. yeah.. make sense right?

Finally, like we have chemotherapy to try and treat the cancer that is there. Chemotherapy is shorthand for cytotoxic chemotherapy, and cytotoxic literally means cell poison, and this is how the drug works, by disrupting the process by which the cancerous cells divide and multiply. The proplem with this is that over 1 hundred of these cytotoxic drugs cannot differentiate between normal healthy cells and cancerous cells, so they kinda kill them all together. The same can be said for earth's "chemotherapy", they come in the form of natural disasters to humans that live on earth. The earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, famines... they kill people, the cancerous cells that is on the Geoearthan sapien.. so yeah. the link should be quite obvious.... and not only do stuff like famines kill people, they kill animals and vegetation there as well, thus the same thing as the side effects of cytoxic chemotherapy.

So as you see, us humans on the earth, have quite a lot in common with the cancerous cells on a patient. Therefore, unless we want to be compared to a cancer, devastating by the earth, and being killed in return, i suggest we should do something about the crap we are doing to the world... together as a species of homo sapiens . Even though this is quite an extreme illustration of the role of our species on the planet. can you imagine if i was right about it?

lets all go hug trees now and be friendly to the environment!!

thanks for your time for reading this..
