im just rotting away my life.....
seriously, if i ever thought this september hols is a good time to study and catch up on my work, it was a sad error in judgement... cuz seriously...i cant recall any tangible piece of organised academic revision in this holidays at all.. oh crap. im so gonna fail my promos, at this point.. all im hoping for is to pass everthing.. oh hell, just 2 As and 2 AOs will be good... man.. im a sorry sad bitch....
oh well, i went to the 1st 3 mths Yjc get together and b-day party today... haha.. fine.. only ard like 15 pple there.. but it was fun.. and my gosh aimee's house is so nice.. the pool is built in such a way that its elevated from the ground, and the water just flow over like a waterfall that surrounds the pool... u get what im saying?? oh nevermind... but the idea is that its damn nice.. and the pool is just a small part of a much bigger masterpiece of architecture.. yep.. everything was very tastefully done.. the people were okay i guess..
now... is it just me, or is it that people are trying to look cool during parties? i mean, like whats with the cigarettes? its so uncool to smoke man.. i mean u get all smokey and full of tar and nicotine smelling breath. gosh... but to some extent, is not all that bad... cuz lotsa pple do it... and its like a must for anybody trying to look cool in the 70s and the early eighties.. i mean, i kinda saw my dad posing with a cigarette once in a picture.. u know the one when u stand there with a buddy, hold a cigarette between your fingers, and peg another one behind your ear.... haha.. he looked so stupid.. with the huge leather jacket, the retro hairstyle and the act-cool look with the cigarette.. ok, i seem to have digressed a little, back to the party... see the thing is that no one smoked them, in a way, its quite good.. but isnt it all even more fake? i mean, if u want to show pple that u have balls, just smoke there la... rather than flashing them out at various intervals to get oohs and ahhs from pple ard.. haha.. oh well.. im just so cynical....
ok....some justice to the party/gathering/BBQ. haha.. aimee was a gracious host, the people there were quite willing to talk and mingle ard, even for those i dont know, yeah.. generally all very nice and chatty.. haha. oh well, yeah, happy birthday lynn, angelina, and maurice!!! yeah.. its been great to see u guys again!!
