lazzzeeeeeee lazzzzeeee day....

im not even guilty about it...
in fact im proud to announce unbashfully that,
i did absolutely nothing today..

why? cuz like im so bloody burnt out by the end of that school term.. think about the shit i have gone through the past term, all the choir rehearsals.. i think right.. for one term, we kinda clocked around more than like 100 hours of singing..

here's the breakdown..
wednesday rehearsal, 2:30 to 5:30, elapsed time, 3 hrs
saturday rehearsal, 9:00 to 1:00 or 12:00 to 5, mean time, 4.5 hrs.
sectionals, random, around like 3 hrs each.. like6-9 times during term, lets just say its 7 times..
therefore, do the math, and u 'll get ard 8 Hrs of official choir rehearsals per week, in one term, thats 80 hrs... then the sectionals.. 21 hrs... altogether staggering 101 hours of singing in this term alone.. and this is not including the hrs we clocked up doing the morning ensemble and rehearsing for the teacher's day items...
yeah.. the amount of commitment we put in for choir.. we really should get paid..
i mean like see right.. if we got paid even less than a mcdonald's cashier(no offense to u guys though) which is like ard $4 an hour, say we get paid $3.50, times 101 hours.. hmm, around $353.50.. and keeping in mind that i have not added in the pay for acts during national day, teacher's day, the dinner performance at the raffles swiss hotel... damn.... we are seriously being exploited..
oh well, i mean, most of us are happy to be exploited, like me.. okok.. to do some justice to the choir, exploited is quite a strong word... oh well... like, made use of... oh well i guess u should know what im trying to say.. anyway.. whatever shit we are going through now will be beneficial to our competition next year...
